شركة تسلا تفتح مصنعها في نيويورك لإنتاج أجهزة التنفس الإصطناعي
قررت شركة تسلا إتخاذ خطوة لافتة في نطاق المسؤولية الإجتماعية خاصة في ظل انتشار فيروس كورونا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية مما يؤكد أن دورها لا يقتصر فقط على صناعة السيارات وبيعها.
قامت شركة تسلا بإفتتاح مصنعها في نيويورك “جيجا فاكتوري” في ولاية نيويورك لكن ليس من أجل انتاج السيارات لكن لإنتاج أجهزة التنفس الإصطناعي فقط من أجل المساعدة في علاج مرضى فيروس كورونا.
بالطبع جرى ذلك بأمر من الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب من أجل تلبية الحاجة لوجود العدد الكافي من أجهزة التنفس الإصطناعي لمساعدة المرضى الذين يعانون من هذا الوباء.
ليست تسلا شركة السيارات الوحيدة التي تحولت لإنتاج أجهزة التنفس الإصطناعي بل أيضا كلا من كلا من جنرال موتورز وفورد من أجل المساعدة على الحد من تفشي هذا الوباء.
بالطبع تعد ذلك خطوة إيجابية لصانعي السيارات وذلك عوضا عن بقاء المصانع مغلقة وتراكم التكاليف التشغيلية بل انتاج الأجهزة للمساعدة على معالجة المرضى خاصة عندما يصل المرض لمرحلة متقدمة تستوجب تقديم المساعدة المطلوبة.
يجدر الذكر أن عدد ضحايا فيروس كورونا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بدأ بالزيادة عن الصين حيث تجاوزو 83 ألف حالة حتى اللحظة ومن المرجح الزيادة بفارق كبير في حال عدم إتخاذ أي خطوة للحد من تفشي هذا الوباء الذي صنفته منظمة الصحة العالمية على أنه وباء عالمي.
في المقابل فإن إيطاليا حتى اللحظة تتصدر نسبة الوفيات بأرقام مخيفة مقارنة ببقية الدول التي تفشى بها فيروس كورونا، في المقابل فقد تمكنت الصين من التخلص من هذا الوباء حديثا وعودة الحياة بالشكل الطبيعي كأن شيئا لم يكن.
منذ شهر مارس/آذار لعام 2020 قامت العديد من شركات السيارات في إيطاليا بإغلاق مصانعها من أجل الحفاظ على صحة العاملين لديها وهو ما قامت به شركات السيارات الأمريكية للحد من تفشي هذا المرض.
قد يتسائل البعض عن مدى خظورة فيروس كورونا، الجواب هو طول فترة الحضانة للفيروس وتظهر الأعراض بعد مرور 14 يوما مما يعني أن الشخص الذي يحمل هذا الفيروس قد يخالط عددا كبيرا من الأشخاص قبل ظهور الأعراض الواضحة عليه.
