الجميلة النائمة على اطارات هو أفضل ما يمكن تعريف المصابيح القابلة للطي وهي الصيحة التصميمية التي اجتاحت السيارات الرياضية منذ فترة الستينات في القرن الماضي واليكم بعضا من أجملها.

2 – جاكوار XJ 220 : سيارة ذات تصميم انسيابي للغاية لكن ذلك لم يمنعها من التمتع بالمصابيح القابلة للطي، الرقم 220 يشير الى السرعة القصوى التي بلغت 220 ميل/س أي ما يعادل 352 كم/س الأمر الذي كان يعتبر مذهلا في فترة التسعينات.
3 – لامبورجيني ديابلو : اذا كنت من هؤلاء الذين أمضو طفولتهم أو مراهقتهم في فترة التسعينات فبالتأكيد هذه هي سيارة الأحلام لدى أغلبيتهم، ظهرت هذه السيارة على غلاف احدى اصدارات لعبة Need For Speed لزيادة تميزها، في عام 1999 خضعت لعملية تحسين جرى من خلالها استبدال المصابيح القابلة للطي بأخرى ثابتة لدواعي الانسيابية علما بأنها السيارة الوحيدة في القائمة التي تحتوي على محرك مكون من 12 اسطوانة بشكل V12.
4 – هوندا NSX : تم انتاج هذه السيارة لتأكيد قدرة العلامة اليابانية على منافسة فيراري 348، يجدر الذكر أن البطل الراحل ايرتون سينا ساهم في تطويرها مما يجعلها تقدم أداء استثنائيا كما أنها حاليا محط أنظار جامعي السيارات الذين يرغبون باقتنائها قبل ارتفاع سعرها في المستقبل.
5 – شفروليه كورفيت C5 : آخر جيل من الأيقونة الأمريكية التي احتوت على المصابيح القابلة للطي والذي ظهر في الفترة الواقعة ما بين 1997-2004 وكذلك أول سيارة في هذه القائمة التي محركها يقع في الجهة الأمامية.
6 – بونتياك ترانس ام : الطراز المذكور من فايربيرد ترانس ام هو الذي جرى انتاجه في الفترة الواقعة ما بين 1993-2002 وتحديدا الطراز المحسن الذي ظهر عام 1997 الذي تميز بالمزج بين الأناقة والشراسة.
7 – سيزيتا V16T : كان من المفترض أن تتبنى لامبورجيني ديابلو تصميم هذه السيارة لكن إدارة كرايسلر المالكة لها آنذاك رفضت التصميم بسبب عدم استساغته من قبلهم علما أنها تمتعت بوجود المصابيح القابلة للطي المزدوجة مما أضفى عليها طابعا فريدا من نوعه.
