تويوتا هايلوكس القادم يخضع للإختبار بطل الفورميولا1 والراليات فرناندو ألونسو
يبدو أن جيلا جديدا بالكامل على وشك الإنطلاق من تويوتا هايلوكس القادم حيث أن ذلك أمر لا بد منه للمنافسة في قطاع الشاحنات الخفيفة إلا أنه لا بد من خضوعة للإختبارات اللازمة للتأكد من جاهزيته بالكامل.
تم تسريب مقطع فيديو عن خضوع تويوتا هايلوكس القادم للتجارب اللازمة لكن سائق التجارب ليس شخصا إعتياديا بل هو بطل العالم السابق للفورميولا فرناندو ألونسو وهو ما من شأنه الترويج بشكل أفضل للبيك اب القادم.
مؤخرا بدأت الإشاعات تحوم حول الجيل القادم من تويوتا هايلوكس والتي من ضمنها أنه سيتم تفيره بالخيار ذو الطابع الرياضي تحت تسمية هايلوكس GR مما يناسب شريحة الشباب من الزبائن أكثر.تتضمن الإشاعات أيضا حول توفر محرك جديد بالكامل بسعة 2.8 ليتر لكن لم يتم بعد تحديد نوع الوقود لكن من المرجح أنه سيكون من فئة الديزل وهو أمر لا بد منه في فئة الشاحنات الخفيفة بسبب التمتع بالعزم العالي على سرعات الدوران المنخفضة.
عند الحديث عن تطوير طراز بيك اب فإنه لا بد من وجود جهاز تعليق فعال قادر على توفير الثبات والتماسك المطلوبين عند القيادة على كافة أنواع الطرقات علما أنه تم التأكيد في الوقت الحالي أن تويوتا هايلوكس القادم سيتمتع بما يلزم للقيادة على كافة أنواع الطرقات دون أي عناء بجانب توفير نظام الدفع الرباعي الذي بات لا بد من توفره في البيك اب.
في المقابل لم يجري بعد الكشف عن خيارات علبة التروس التي ستتوفر في الجيل القادم من طراز هايلوكس لكن لا بد من وجود الخيار اليدوي من 5 أو 6 نسب بجانب الخيار الأوتوماتيكي كتجهيز إختياري.بالطبع لا بد من العناية بتطوير تويوتا هايلوكس القادم بقوة والسبب في ذلك هو رغبة علامات السيارات الأخرى في توفير منافس قوي مثل شركة هيونداي بجانب علامة رام التي ترغب بإطلاق طراز داكوتا كما يوجد الخيارات المنافسة الأخرى مثل نيسان نافارا وميتسوبيشي L200 وإيسوزو دي-ماكس.
لم يجري بعد التأكيد على الموعد الرسمي لإطلاق تويوتا هايلوكس الجديد لكن من المتوقع إطلاقه في وقت لاحق من عام 2020 كطراز لعام 2021.
