تسلا موديل 3 المكشوفة هي إثبات أنه لا حدود أبدا لرغبة الإنسان في الخروج عن المألوف حيث أنها بالأساس سيارة صالون صغيرة الحجم لكن ذلك لم يمنع قيام أحد مالكيها بتحويلها إلى مكشوفة.
من ضمن شركات التعديل يوجد فئة منها تختص فقط بتحويل السيارات العادية سواء أكانت صالون أو كوبيه إلى مكشوفة والتي من ضمنها تبرز تسلا موديل 3 المكشوفة مما يساعد على زيادة التميز لمالكها.
قد يعتقد البعض أن مهمة تحويل السيارة إلى مكشوفة هو أمر سهل حيث أن كل ما يتطلبه الأمر هو قص السقف لكن ذلك خطأ حيث يوجد شركات مختصة بذلك وتقوم بتعويض فارق الصلابة من خلال إضافة دعائم داخلية لتعويض فارق الصلابة الناجم عن نزع السقف وهو أمر قد يستغرق شهورا للخروج بالنتيجة المطلوبة.
تولى إنجاز تسلا موديل 3 المكشوفة شركة “Newportconvertible” وهي شركة تمتلك الخبرة الكافية في تحويل السيارات الإعتيادية إلى مكشوفة حيث أن تأسيسها يعود لعام 1983 كما أن للشركة عدة أفرع في كلا من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا وإسبانيا وفرنسا وقطر والصين مما يؤكد على تميز الشركة وثقة الزبائن بالنتيجة.
تيبلغ تكلفة تحويل طراز موديل 3 من تسلا ليصبح مكشوفا ما يقارب 29500 دولار وفي حال الرغبة بطي السقف كهربائيا يجب إضافة 10 آلاف دولار أخرى لهذه الغاية علما أن هذه الأسعار لا تشمل السيارة نفسها لكن من يريد سيارة خارجة عن المألوف عليه أن يتحمل التكلفة مهما كانت.
قد يبدو مظهر النسخة المكشوفة من طراز موديل 3 غريبا بعض الشيء وقد لا يروق للبعض لكن ذلك لا يمنع من أن السيارة مميزة لكن ربما قد يثير وجود الركيزة بين المقاعد الأمامية والخلفية إستياء البعض لكن ذلك أمر ضروري لإجتياز متطلبات السلامة في بعض الولايات الأمريكية للسيارات المكشوفة.
يجدر الذكر أن شركة التعديل ذاتها قامت في وقت سابق بإنتاج نسخة مكشوفة من طراز تسلا موديل S وهي خيار الصالون الفخم مما يؤكد مدى إحترافية الشركة في الخروج بالنتيجة المطلوبة كما أنه يمكن على سبيل المثال شراء دودج تشالنجر والتوجه للشركة من أجل نزع السقف والتمتع بالهواء النقي خاصة في ظل عدم قيام دودج نفسها بذلك.
