من ضمن الأمور التي تساعد في ترجيح قرار شراء سيارة من علامة معينة هي النتائج دراسات الجودة، ولعل أشهرها دراسات مؤسسة جاي دي باور الاميركية، والتي نشرت مؤخراً نتائج أحدث دراسة لقياس الجودة الأولية او المبدئية initial quality survey، والتي كشفت عن فوز كل من كيا ودودج بالصدارة بأقل عدد من المشاكل المسجلة، بينما أحرزت تسلا على نحو غير متوقع المركز الأخير، وهي تشارك بشكل غير رسمي وللمرة الأولى في هذه الدراسة.

في السنوات السابقة تمكنت تسلا من تشكيل منافسة قوية في قطاع السيارات بسبب توفيرها السيارات الكهربائية التي تتمتع بمقصورة فخمة لكن ذلك لم يشفع لها حيث أنها احتلت المركز الأخير، وأن بشكل غير رسمي في دراسة الجودة الأولية لجاي دي باور للعام 2020 على مستوى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، علما أن ذلك جاء بعد أن سجلت سيارات تسلا 250 عطلا لكل 100 سيارة جديدة مباعة خلال أول 90 يوما من تاريخ شراء السيارة، وهو ما وضعها في المركز الأخير في هذه الدراسة المهمة.
في المقابل وكما ذكرنا، تمكنت كلا من دودج وكيا من إحراز أفضل النتائج من خلال تسجيل 136 عطلا فقط لكل 100 سيارة جديدة ومن ثم شفروليه ورام بمقدار 141 عطلا ومن ثم جينيسيس “142”، بلغ المتوسط المعياري 166 عطلا/100 سيارة خلال أول 90 يوم من تاريخ الشراء.
تتضمن المفاجآت في هذه الدراسة، بحصول كلا من تويوتا وهوندا على مرتبة متدنية، حيث أحرزت كلا العلامتين 177 عطلا، على الرغم ان كلتا العلامتين كانتا سابقا تتصدران نتائج هذا الإستطلاع سابقا كما أنهما ترمزان دائما للجودة والإعتمادية.
علامات السيارات الفارهة بدورها أحرزت نتائج متدنية حيث سجلت جاكوار 190 عطلا/100 سيارة ومن ثم مرسيدس-بنز “202 عطلا” وتلتها فولفو بمقدار 210 أعطال وأودي بمقدار 225 فيما أن لاند روفر أحرزت المركز ما قبل الأخير بمقدار 228 عطلا.
على صعيد الطرازات، تمكن طراز بويك إنفيجين “Envision” من تسجيل أقل نسبة أعطال في دراسة جاي دي باور لعام 2020 حيث بلغت فقط 21 عطلا/100 سيارة علما أن هذا الطراز يتم تصنيعه في الصين وتصديره للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بفضل ذلك فقد نال الدرع البلاتيني لدراسة جاي دي باور، حيث أنه أحرز عددا أقل من 25 عطلا “21 عطلا تحديدا” علما أن هذه الأعطال هي اعتيادية فقط.
بالطبع من الممكن أن تتغير النتائج في الدراسة ذاتها للعام القادم خاصة في حال قامت شركات السيارات بمعالجة المشاكل التي تم الإبلاغ عنها خاصة تسلا التي لم يكن يتوقع أحدا أن تسجل أدنى مركز في الدراسة.
