فولكس واجن ترانسبورتر يحتفل بالذكرى السبعين على إنطلاق مسيرته

بدأ طراز فولكس واجن ترانسبورتر مسيرته عام 1949 وذلك بسبب الحاجة لتوفير مركبة قادرة إما على نقل البضائع لوحدها أو نقل الأشخاص والبضائع، اكتسب هذا الفان مكانة خاصة بسبب إمكانية تعديل المقصورة كما يرغب المالك مما جعلها أحد أهداف عشاق التخييم.
في المقابل وللأسف لم يتمكن طراز بيتل من فولكس واجن من الصمود بجيله الجديد مما دفع بفولكس واجن بإتخاذ قرار الإحالة للتقاعد وجرى الإحتفاظ بالنسخة الإنتاجية الأخيرة داخل مصنع فولكس واجن بالمكسيك مما شكل صدمة كبيرة لعشاق هذه السيارة الأسطورية.
يجدر الذكر أنه قلة قليلة من السيارات هي من تمكنت من الصمود لمدة تزيد عن 70 عاما ومن أبرزها هي شفروليه سوبربان التي بدأت مسيرتها عام 1935 وأيضا فورد F الذي بدأ مسيرته عام 1948 وهو البيك اب الأكثر شعبية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
بدأ اعتماد تسمية ترانسبورتر رسميا على هذا الطراز منذ عام 1990 مع إطلاق الجيل الرابع منه، توفرت الأجيال السابقة منه بخيار البيك اب، كان كلا من الجيل الأول “1950-1967” والجيل الثاني “1967-1979” والجيل الثالث “1979-1992” تحتوي على المحرك في الجهة الخلفية من الهيكل، شهد الجيل الرابع “1990-2003” التحول للوضعية الأمامية للمحرك مع الإندفاع بالعجلات الأمامية وهو ما لا يزال مستمرا مع الجيل الخامس “2003-2015” وأيضا الجيل السادس الذي بدأ مسيرته عام 2015 ولايزال مستمرا.
بفضل بساطة مكونات الأجيال الثلاثة الأولى من فولكس واجن ترانسبورتر تمكن العديد من مالكيها تعديل المقصورة كما يرغبون من أجل التماشي مع متطلباتهم وأذواقهم حتى أن البعض قامو بتحويله الى منزل متنقل خاصة لهواة الرحلات والتخييم بجانب الإستعانة بها سابقا كسيارة إسعاف.
