بالطبع تحتل العناية بسلامة العمال في مصنع فولكس واجن الأولوية لدى الشركة حيث يوجد العديد من وسائل الوقاية التي تحد من إمكانية نقل العدوى بين العمال في حال كان أحدهم مصابا بهذا المرض علما أن جرى تخطيط انتاج 1400 سيارة في الأسبوع الأول ومن ثم ارتفاع الرقم لاحقا حسب ما يتم طلبه.
بجانب ذلك فقد بدأت علامات السيارات الأخرى بإعادة افتتاح مصانعها لكن ضمن شروط معينة أبرزها عدم تجاوز الطاقة العاملة للحد المسموح به تجنبا للإختلاط قدر الإمكان والحد من انتشار الوباء الذي تسبب بخسائر كبيرة في الأرواح في كافة أنحاء العالم حتى اللحظة.
