مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو يجمدان تعاونهما في مجال تطوير القيادة الذاتية مؤقتا
بعدما تم الإتفاق بين كلا من مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو فيما يتعلق بتطوير ميزة القيادة الذاتية تم إيقاف ذلك مؤقتا لكن من المتوقع أن يستمر ذلك في وقت لاحق في حال تم التوصل لإتفاق بهذا الموضوع.
قد يثير الإتفاق بين مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو استغراب البعض حيث أن المنافسة بين كلا العلامتين كبيرة جدا حيث أنه عندما تقوم إحدى الشركتين بإستحداث فئة تقوم الأخرى بإطلاق طراز من ذات الفئة لكن ذلك لا يمتع من التعاون في تحقيق هدف معين.
تعود بداية التعاون ما بين مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو في مجال تطوير تقنية القيادة الذاتية لشهر فبراير/شباط لعام 2019 إلا أنه وبشكل مفاجئ تم تجميد هذا الإتفاق، من الممكن أن يتم إعادة تفعيله مجددا أو حتى الإستمرار لكن مع شريك جديد.
بجانب ذلك فإن أحد الأهداف من هذا التعاون المشترك بين اثنين من أكبر صانعي السيارات الألمان توفير ميزة قيادة ذاتية قادرة على أن تكون متوافقة مع متطلبات السلامة العامة وهو أمر مهم خاصة في الوقت الحالي الذي باتت العديد من الدول تفرض معايير صارمة للسلامة.
ليست هذه أول مرة تتعاون كلا من مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو في قطاع معين حيث سبق أن تعاونت كلا الشركتين مع علامة أودي عام 2015 لإستحداث مكان مخصص لتطوير تقنية خاصة لمنصة بناء السيارات.
تم التصريح بخصوص ذلك أنه عندما تم الإتفاق بين صانعي السيارات والمزودين بشكل مفصل بخصوص التقنيات فإن ذلك لم يجري لحين قيام كلا من مرسيدس-بنز وبي ام دبليو بالتوقيع على الإتفاق، بجانب ذلك فإن الظروف الإقتصادية الحالية قد لا تكون مناسبة لتعاون مماثل علما أن تكلفة هذا الإتفاق بلغت مليار دولار.
في المقابل صرح رئيس قسم التطوير لدى بي ام دبليو كلاوس فروليتش أنه سبق أن تعاونت الشركة في مجال التكنولوجيا مع عدة شركات مثل إنتل “Intel” وموبيل آي “Mobileye وأيضا مجموعة فيات كرايسلر، يتمتع الجيل الحالي من التقنية لدينا بالقدر العالي من القوة والإستدامة بجانب توفير أجهزة استشعار فائقة التطور مما يساعد على تلبية متلطبات وحاجات الزبائن لعدة سنوات في المستقبل.
من جهته صرح رئيس قسم البحث والتطوير لدى مرسيدس-بنز ماركوس شافر أن مستوى الخبرة التقنية لدينا يكاد يكون مماثلا لما هو لدى بي ام دبليو وهو ما تم إثباته من خلال مجالات التعاون السابقة، تتمثل الخطوة التالية لدى النجمة الثلاثية في التخلي عن استخدام الكربون وأيضا توفير الرقمنة “digitalization” بصورة أكبر وهو ما يمثل أحد الأساسات الهامة لدينا بجانب الرغبة في التأقلم مع الظروف المحيطة التي تتغير بشكل مستمر علما أننا نريد التعاون في المجال التقني لكن مع شركات من خارج قطاع صناعة السيارات.
