مرسيدس-بنز EQE : هل ستكون المنافسة المباشرة لسيارة تسلا موديل S ؟
تمكنت شركة تسلا من إحداث ضجة واسعة في مجال صناعة السيارات بسبب قدرتها على توفير كافة وسائل الراحة والرفاهية في السيارات الكهربائية، مرسيدس-بنز EQE ربما من المتوقع أن يتم انتاجها للرد بالطريقة المناسبة.
مرسيدس-بنز EQE هي من ضمن ما يمكن أن تنتجه النجمة الثلاثية ضمن نطاق العلامة الفرعية EQ المختصة بإنتاج السيارات الكهربائية فقط، تم خروج طراز EQC لحيز الإنتاج فيما أنه من المرتقب انتاج EQS وأيضا EQB وذلك لزيادة الخيارات أمام الزبائن.
في المقابل عندما تم إطلاق طراز بورشه تايكان اعتقد البعض أنها ستشكل منافسة كبيرة لتسلا لكن ذلك لم يجري بسبب أن بورشه تستهدف أكثر شريحة الأثرياء وتركز على كونها سيارة حصرية أكثر وهو ما يمكن لطراز EQE أن يفعله عندما يخرج لخط الإنتاج.
في ظل عدم التأكد من التصميم النهائي للطراز الكهربائي القادم من مرسيدس-بنز يمكن التكهن بأنه سيكون من فئة سيارات الصالون بشكل الكوبيه على غرار طراز EQS لكن بحجم أصغر طبعا وهو ما من شأنه تشكيل منافسة حادة خاصة أن النجمة الثلاثية ترغب إثبات حضورها بشكل لافت.
عند الحديث عن السيارات الكهربائية لا بد من النظر إلى موضوع البطارية المزودة بالطاقة للمحركات الكهربائية بحيث أنه لا بد من توفير القوة الكافية من أجل ذلك بجانب تمتع المحرك الكهربائي بالقوة والعزم اللازمين لتحريك السيارة وأيضا مدى السير المتوقع والذي يجب أن يتجاوز 500 كم وهو ما يمكن أن يحدث بفضل التطور الكبير الحاصل في قطاع السيارات الكهربائية خاصة أن طراز القمة لدى تسلا موديل S وهو P100D قادر على توفير مدى سير يبلغ 628 كم قبل الحاجة للشحن مجددا.
يعود الفضل في الكشف عن الطرازات الكهربائية من مرسيدس-بنز إلى استراتيجية مجموعة دايملر وذلك من خلال استثمار مبلغ يقارب 12 مليار دولار في مجال تطوير السيارات الكهربائية وذلك بسبب أنها تشكل حاليا مستقبل صناعة السيارات ولابد من مجاراته قدر الإمكان خاصة أن بعض الدول بدأت تضع استراتيجيات للتحول للسيارات الكهربائية بالكامل والتخلص من سيارات الوقود التقليدي قدر الإمكان.
