بات إنطلاق بي ام دبليو الفئة الرابعة القادمة قريبا جدا وهو ما يمكن ملاحظته من خلال التسريبات المتعلقة بها حيث أنها تمثل خيار الكوبيه لطراز الفئة الثالثة وهو ما ينتظره العديد من عشاق بي ام دبليو بفارغ الصبر.
تم حديثا تسريب بعض التفاصيل عن بي ام دبليو الفئة الرابعة القادمة وذلك تمهيدا لإنطلاقها بتاريخ 2 من شهر حزيران/يونيو لعام 2020 وذلك من أجل منافسة خيار الكوبيه من مرسيدس-بنز الفئة E بالطريقة المناسبة.
من ضمن ما يمكن ملاحظته من التسريبات هو شبكة التهوئة المزدوجة الكبيرة الحجم وهو ما بات نمط التصميم السائد الذي تتبعه بي ام دبليو والذي بدوره ظهر بشكل واضح في طراز الفئة السابعة وهو ما يساعد في تمييز طرازات العلامة البافارية الحديثة بشكل واضح جدا، يجدر الذكر أن الفئة الرابعة بدأت مسيرتها منذ عام 2013 كطراز 2014 لتمثل خيار الكوبيه من طراز الفئة الثالثة والسبب هو رغبة بي ام دبليو بتخصيص الأرقام الزوجية لخيارات الكوبيه.
بجانب خيار الكوبيه من أشكال الهيكل فإنه لا بد من توفير الخيار المكشوف في وقت لاحق لكن لم يتم التأكيد فيما إذا كانت ستسمر بالسقف المعدني المتخرك أو توفير السقف القماشي الذي يوفر العزل الصوتي والحراري المناسبين كما سيتوفر خيار جران كوبيه وهو صالون بشكل الكوبيه الذي يناسب الشباب أكثر.
من المتوقع أن يتم توفير محرك القمة عند الإنطلاق تحت تسمية M440i xdrive والذي يحتوي على محرك سداسي الإسطوانات بسعة 3.0 ليتر ويتصل بشاحن تيربو كما سيتم توفير الخيار الأساسي والأصغر حجما في وقت لاحق بسعة 2.0 ليتر فيما أنه سيجري لاحقا توفير الخيار الأعلى وهو M4.
بجانب ذلك من الممكن أيضا كذلك من خلال التسريبات ملاحظة وجود خطوط الليد بشكل حرف L داخل المصابيح الأمامية وهو ما يساعد بدوره في توفير طابع أكثر تميزا للسيارة وعلى غرار طرازي الفئة الثالثة والخامسة وهو الأمر الذي يساعد على تمييز طرازات بي ام دبليو بسهولة.
تم أيضا تسريب خيارات الألوان للهيكل الخارجي للسيارة والتي تتضمن عدة خيارات مثل الأبيض والأسود اللامع وغير اللامع “Matt” بجانب الرمادي والأزرق والبرتقالي وذلك من أجل تلبية أذواق أكبر شريحة ممكنة من الزبائن.
