سيارة رينو الكهربائية القادمة ستكون من فئة الدفع الرباعي
أصبحت العديد من شركات السيارات توفر طراز كهربائي أو أكثر ضمن خيارات عروضها أو ترغب بذلك في المستقبل القريب، سيارة رينو الكهربائية القادمة ستساعد في زيادة الخيارات أمام الزبائن.

بسبب الإستعانة بقاعدة العجلات من طراز مورفوز الإختباري فإنه من المتوقع أن تكون السيارة الكهربائية القادمة وبشكل واضح من فئة الكروس أوفر والتي من الممكن أن تمزج ما بين سيارات الدفع الرباعي والكوبيه حيث أنها تستهدف شريحة الزبائن الراغبين بالتمتع بسيارة ذات طابع عصري قدر الإمكان.
في ظل عدم وجود معلومات أكيدة عن نظام الدفع الكهربائي فإنه من المتوقع وجود بطارية ذات قوة كافية لإعطاء المحركات الكهربائية القوة اللازمة من أجل تحريك السيارة بالقوة المناسبة وأيضا توفير مدى سير لا يقل عن 350 كم قبل الحاجة للشحن مجددا علما أن ذلك ممكن بفضل التطور الذي حصل في مجال البطاريات.
من المتوقع أن تتمتع سيارة رينو الكهربائية القادمة بتصميم إما مستوحى من سيارة مورفوز الإختبارية أو الإستعانة ببعض الأفكار منه حيث من الممكن أن تكون مزيجا ما بين فئة الجران كوبيه “كوبيه بأربعة أبواب” وسيارات الدفع الرباعي بسبب إرتفاعها عن سطح الطريق مما يوفر بعضا من طابع العملانية للسيارة.
المقصورة أيضا بدورها ستوفر العديد من التقنيات الحديثة مثل وجود شاشة نظام معلومات كبيرة الحجم للتحكم بغالبية وظائف السيارة بجانب وجود لوحة القيادة الإفتراضية عوضا عن نظيرتها التقليدية لإثبات الطابع المستقبلي كما يمكن توفر ميزة القيادة الذاتية لكن لم يتم تأكيد ذلك بعد.
