يبدو أن فيروس كورونا لا يزال يلقي بتبعاته الإقتصادية في كافة أنحاء العالم أجمع، أعلنت شركة فيراري مؤقتا عن إغلاق مصانعها من أجل الحفاظ على قوانين السلامة العامة والتي تحظر تجمع أكبر عدد من الأشخاص تحت سقف واحد.
قررت شركة فيراري إغلاق مصنيعها في كلا من مدينتي مارانيللو ومودينا تماشيا مع القوانين التي تساعد في الحد من تفشي وباء فيروس كورونا وذلك لغاية تاريخ 27 من شهر مارس/آذار لعام 2020 لكن لا نعلم بعد فيما إذا سيستمر هذا الإغلاق لمدة أطول.
كأن قطاع صناعة السيارات لا يكتفي بالمشاكل التي تواجهه مثل قوانين انبعاثات غازات العوادم التي تزداد تشددا والضغوطات من جمعيات الحفاظ على البيئة من أجل انتاج سيارات لا تصدر أية انبعاثات ضارة ليأتي فيروس كورونا ليؤدي إلى تفاقم المشاكل بصورة أكبر.
بدأ فيروس كورونا بالإنتشار في إيطاليا في نظاق ضيق في البداية لكن بسبب عدم إتخاذ الإحتياطات المناسبة في التعامل مع هذا الوباء العالمي ارتفعت حالات الإصابة لتبلغ ما يزيد عن 20 ألف حالة حتى اللحظة.
بالطبع ليست فيراري لوحدها التي سوف تضظر لإغلاق مصانعها بل يوجد هناك أيضا كلا من مجموعتي فيات كرايسلر و”PSA” التي تضم كلا من بيجو وستروين ورينو وأوبل وفوكسهول تعليق أنشطة التصنيع بشكل مؤقت من أجل الحد من انتشار هذا الوباء.
ربما لم تشهد شركة فيراري الإضطرار للتوقف عن العمل لفترة مؤقتة من الزمن منذ أن تأسست عام 1947 “بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية” والتي تهدف بالأساس صناعة السيارات الرياضية والباهظة الثمن من لتوفير السيولة المالية الكافية للمشاركة في كافة الفعاليات المتعلقة برياضة السيارات كما أنها تقوم أيضا بإنتاج سيارات على الطلب الخاص من قبل بعض الزبائن الذين يريدون التميز والفرادة قدرة الإمكان مقابل مبلغ من المال يتناسب مع ما يتم طلبه.
