من الخارج يبرز تصميم سيارة لامبورجيني كانتو الإختبارية حيث أنه يحتوي على خطوط طراز ديابلو إلا أنه جرى إعادة تصميم المصابيح الأمامية والخلفية كما وتم مراعاة زيادة الإنسيابية والتي تعتبر عاملا هاما في هذه الفئة من السيارات لضمان إختراقها الهواء بكل سلاسة، علما أنها كحال بقية السيارات التي تحمل شعار الثور الهائج تحتوي على الأبواب التي تفتح للأعلى والتي ظهرت لأول مرة في طراز كونتاش ولا تزال مستمرة حتى يومنا هذا.
